Back in 70th
Now time to share my second look which I wore for 2nd day of Milan fashion week. That day was probably most intense with lots of shows but I was still full energy. The first show started at 11 am which is still ok – still got some time for quick croissant with coffee before running to the show.
I missed this feeling when you wear coolest look you have dreamed to wear for last couple of weeks, especially when you live in the country where people do not really wear colors and in general if I would be running around with this look they would think I arrived in here with TIME MACHINE from 70th – at the same time – you come to Milan and walk your head up as street style photographers are elbowing each other to get that amazing photography which will be then sold or posted in big online and print magazines. Ehh! Why isn’t the fashion week is just a week and not many month?
Of course it doesn’t mean that, now we search for all old stuff of our grandmas she was wearing back in 70th and go to milan fashion week, to choose perfect outfit is another story which doesn’t take half n hour of your pre-office preparation.
For me for instance, it might take up to the whole month – its like you are searching for your wedding dress twice a year, for many wedding dresses!!! First you see something cool online or in magazine or in vintage market or you ask your mom to send some pieces from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. You get the whole wardrobe full with these stuff – your husband has to move with his clothes to the book shelf, as you need space for every masterpieces!
Now imagine all this to be take with you by plane to Milan and while you are flying your favorite brands sending you some more cool pieces you might wear during their shows.
At the end – its around 60 pieces which has to be styled in a way that most important you feel like YOURSELF! Lot’s of people involved in this adventures and fun process – I call them friends.
My first look supposed to be black & white, until the moment I saw this top by C Meo Collective, but the look kind of looked unfinished without fur piece by Volza – and we topped this all with vintage hat! This look I wore for Luisa Beccaria show which was in the back yard of traditional building from classical period. This was my first visit of Luisa Beccaria show – I had a feeling that every piece was done with lot’s of love, summery looks with romantic and elegancy touch.
